Infinity Pool Heating & Main Residence Reception Air Conditioning
This project was carried out in April 2016. Our client was renovating this spectacular residence and his team of consulting engineers contacted Diverse Energy to explore the benefits of installing a renewable, sustainable, energy solution to heat the outdoor infinity swimming pool. The Altherma heat pump system would deliver a cost effective alternative solution for this application. There were two 75 kW natural gas fired boilers in place, one was removed the second remains as a backup. After surveying the property, we confirmed the appropriate system for this application would be an Altherma High Temperature (HT) heat pump system. All equipment is located within the pool plant room area as seen in the photo gallery.

Infinity Pool Equipment
The installation consisted of three Altherma High Temperature heat pump systems complete with 3 No. outdoor units, 3 No. indoor aqua systems, 1 No. stainless steel 150mm low loss header, 1 No. control panel and Siemens cascade controller. Control is via in-house BMS control system, interfaced with our control panel within the pool plantroom.

Main Residence Reception Room Air Conditioning
In addition to the above there was a requirement to provide a mechanical cooling system to the main reception area. Diverse Energy supplied and installed 3 No. Daikin concealed ducted AC systems complete with matching outdoor units and controls to maintain the temperature within the space at a comfortable 20’c during the summer period, and can be operated if required to heat the area in winter. The indoor units are located within the ceiling void, the outdoor units are located within the main mechanical plant area for the residence as seen in the photo gallery.
